Doors Open 2017 – September 16

imageAs part of Bayhan’s Canada 150 tributes, our doors are open this summer for our fourth occasion of participating in Doors Open East Elgin.

Doors Open features unique properties of all types and welcomes shun-piker visitors from across Ontario for a closeup view of significant properties in our communities.  They don’t come better than Trinity and its churchyard.

Our sanctuary is the gift of Colonel Mahlon Burwell in 1836, the surrounding cemetery dates to the earliest years of European settlers on the lakefront, and our Parish Hall was Port Burwell’s continuation school until it was outgrown and moved across the street by a forward-looking parish council in 1924.

We look forward to welcoming you to Doors Open @ Trinity – Saturday, September 16, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
